    Dr. Umut Dalanay is a German Board certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist with more than 20 years of professional experience.

    He offers psychiatric treatment and psychotherapy in English, German and Turkish.

    Dr. Dalanay accomplished his psychiatric training in the esteemed University Clinic of Charite Berlin. During his residency he was not only involved in psychiatric care giving in a multi-cultural context, but also in psychiatric research. He completed his dissertation in the field of neuroimaging, aiming to understand the alterations of brain activity in manic and depressive patients using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

    Besides his research activities, Dr. Dalanay worked for almost 10 years in the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic of Charite in St. Hedwig Hospital, providing psychiatric care at the highest standards to an ethnically diverse group of patients.

    After his psychiatric training, he pursued a fellowship in aviation medicine and sexual medicine. Before joining the GNC Dubai, Dr. Dalanay was working as a medical assessor in the Civil Aviation Authority of Germany (LBA).

    Being a psychotherapist (CBT) at the same time, Dr. Dalanay has a comprehensive understanding of the conditions which lead to psychiatric disorders.

    He uses his expertise in psychotherapy and psychiatry in a patient-tailored manner, providing a confidential and effective treatment, even in delicate issues like sexual health.
